Opendatabot and Netpeak Created a List of Russian-Origin Software

Opendatabot has compiled a list of software of Russian origin and of the unrecognized republics — including the so-called "PMR", "ORDLO" and Abkhazia — that is used in Ukraine. Ukrainian businesses currently actively use 44 such products.

Using software of Russian origin in a company's operations can carry several risks at once. Beyond the obvious issue of cooperating with and paying for the services of the aggressor country's company, businesses also risk losing information or ending up in a situation where data goes directly to the aggressor.
